Conditions and guidelines for submissions
MSRF8 Abstract Submission Guidelines
The submitting and presenting authors must be undergraduate students or interns.
Each abstract must be submitted only once by one of the authors.
The submission must be approved by all authors.
The submission must include all authors and at least one supervisor.
Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
The abstract must include: title, background, objectives, methods and materials, results, and conclusion. For case reports, it must include: title, background, case presentation, and conclusion.
The abstract must not exceed 400 words, excluding the title and the authors’ names and affiliations.
The submitted abstract must be original and free of plagiarism.
For each participant, the number of submitted abstracts is not restricted. However, only one abstract may be accepted in each section (oral presentation or poster presentation).
The submitted abstract must not have been submitted to any previous editions of the KSUMSC Research Forum.
At least one student or intern author must fully register to attend MSRF8 and present the paper.
MSRF Abstract Conditions
Abstracts submitted have to fulfil the following conditions:
The research should be in medical research, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical research, translational research, or computer science in medicine, or relevant fields.
The participation is open to all undergraduate students and interns from all colleges, including but not limited to medicine, health sciences, science, engineering, and computer science, from within and outside of King Saud University.
The submitting and presenting author(s) should be undergraduate students or interns.
The research was not carried out before August 2023.
Questionnaire-based research will not be considered for evaluation in areas of: biotechnology, biomedical engineering, pharmaceutical research, translational research, or computer science in medicine.
Incomplete projects or mere research proposals will not be evaluated or considered.
